Aston Villa have struggled for consistency so far this season and it has left the defeated play-off finalists seeing their push for promotion stand in the balance.

While Steve Bruce’s side remain just three points off the top six, there is a growing threat that the gap between Villa and the teams ahead of them will increase given their woeful run of form in recent matches.

At the time of writing, Villa have won just one of their last eight matches across and the pressure upon Bruce is growing significantly, with many calling for his head.

While fans may want changes, it seems that Villa will stick with the experienced boss for the time being so we asked fans whether they believe promotion can be achieved under Bruce – and it is fair to say the majority are not optimistic.

76% of polled supporters stated they believe promotion will not be achieved while Bruce remains at the helm but 24% disagreed, still believing that the under-fire boss can turn things around to guide Villa back to the Premier League.
