When a new manager is appointed just in time for the summer transfer window, it is safe to say that fans will be making lists of potential targets.
Unai Emery has taken over as head coach at Arsenal following Arsene Wenger’s resignation, and he has a big job on his hands.
Naturally, the Spaniard has been linked to players from his former club Paris Saint-Germain, where he won five trophies across a two-year spell.
Julian Draxler has been one name that has come to the surface via social media, and it is not the first time that the attacking midfielder has been associated with Arsenal.

In truth, it would be rather surprising if the 24-year-old made the switch to the Emirates purely because of his time under Emery at Parc des Princes.
Draxler competed a full 90 minutes on just 10 occasions throughout the season and was only named in the starting lineup 19 times in Ligue 1.
On top of that, the Germany international was played in a variety of positions, including central midfield, slightly further forward and on the right side of attack.
Nevertheless, some fans are hopeful that Draxler will be one of Emery’s signings this summer.
