The Qatari-owned club have tabled an offer for Mbappe to extend his contract, albeit it's believed that it doesn't represent a big rise on his existing terms. Naturally, the PSG hierarchy wants him to stay, but they also don't want to be "held to ransom" by the Frenchman.
Mbappe and Real Madrid are still negotiating his proposed deal there, but they have not come any closer to deciding on his salary, according to , with a disparity between the player's expectations and the offer currently on the table.

The Premier League giants would be eager to take him to England, but they are aware that doing so will require them to drastically reshape their wage structures – a risk that none of them is prepared to take. According to the report, Mbappe's summer alternatives are limited, similar to Lionel Messi's circumstances when he left Barcelona. It's unclear if Mbappe will have to reduce his demands or if Real Madrid will go above and beyond for their number one target.
